FAQs About Posting a Letter

How long will it take to get a reply?

We aim to respond within 7–10 working days, insha’Allah. If you need quicker support, consider calling or emailing us. 

Do I need to include my name or address?

Only if you’d like a reply. You can write anonymously, but we won’t be able to respond unless a return address is provided. 

What can I write about?

Anything on your mind—whether it’s stress, sadness, questions about faith, or just needing to be heard. There’s no right or wrong. 

Who will read my letter?

Your letter will be read by a trained Ummati who responds with care, compassion, and confidentiality. 

Is my letter kept private?

Yes. Your letter is handled with complete respect and confidentiality. We only act if there’s a serious concern for your safety.
